Terms & Conditions of Booking & Sale

Please read these Terms & Conditions of Booking & Sale carefully before booking a coaching slot or purchasing a video course from our website.
 

1. General

1.1 These Terms & Conditions govern all bookings and purchases made through talklikethat.com.

1.2 By booking a coaching slot or purchasing a video course, you agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions.
 

2. Booking a Coaching Slot

2.1 Availability: Coaching slots are subject to availability and will be confirmed via email upon booking.

2.2 Payment: Full payment is required at the time of booking. We accept most credit cards, PayPal, GooglePay, and (Canada only) E-transfer.

2.3 Cancellation Policy:

  • Cancellation by You:
    If you provide more than 12 hours' notice before the scheduled coaching session, the amount paid will be held as a credit for a future booking. This credit must be used within 3 months and cannot be refunded.

  • Cancellations made within 12 hours of the session time will not be eligible for a refund or credit.

  • Rescheduling: You may reschedule your session up to 4 hours before the session time, subject to availability.

2.4 No-Shows: If you do not attend a booked session without prior notice, you will not be eligible for a refund or credit. The coach will wait for you to show up until 10 minutes into the scheduled time, at which point the session will be cancelled, and you will not be eligible for refund or credit.

3. Purchasing a Video Course

3.1 Access: Upon purchasing a video course, you will receive immediate access to the course materials via a private Facebook group link. You must request membership via the link, shortly after which you will be admitted. Access is in perpetuity (for as long as Facebook continues service) unless otherwise stated.

3.2 License: Your purchase grants you a non-transferable, non-exclusive license to view the course materials for personal use only. Redistribution, sharing, or resale of the course materials is prohibited.

3.3 Refunds: Due to the digital nature of video courses, all sales are final and non-refundable unless otherwise stated.

4. Pricing

4.1 All prices listed on the course website are in US dollars and are subject to change without notice.

4.2 Any applicable taxes will be added at checkout.

5. Liability

5.1 Talk Like That is not responsible for any technical issues that may prevent access to the website or course materials.

5.2 We do not guarantee any specific results from our coaching sessions or video courses.

6. Intellectual Property

6.1 All content provided on talklikethat.com, including but not limited to videos, texts, and images, is the intellectual property of Talk Like That and is protected by copyright laws.

7. Privacy

7.1 Your personal information will be used in accordance with our Privacy Policy, which you can view here.

8. Changes to Terms

8.1 We reserve the right to modify these Terms & Conditions at any time. Any changes will be effective immediately upon posting on our website.

9. Governing Law

9.1 These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of Canada.
